About The Estate

The latest technology & a personable professional team of guards brings peace of mind to all our residents.

Indigenous flora, a well-established renosterveld, a working vineyard, olive groves, lavender patches and more formal curb side flower beds are maintained by a small hard-working team. Each element marries together to give De Wijnlanden a truly individual and beautiful appearance.

Stunning birds are visible in and around De Wijnlanden some 122 different birds have been spotted.

In May 2014 four Springbok were introduced on to the estate. One male, 2 females and a juvenile. They run freely around, tending to stick to the dams from the gate house to the crèche, but they can often be spotted in the grass ‘amphitheatre’ visible from the road especially after dark.
A very welcome addition and a pleasure to view when out using the trails.

Just 205 sought after houses means buying in De Wijnlanden is a healthy investment for anyone. A majority of ‘Owner Occupiers’ means there is a real sense of community in this successful development.

A Monday to Friday morning playschool is available to children of the estate from ages 2-5 years old and Grade R they follow an age appropriate, daily routine and have weekly themes such as shapes, animals & seasons. Extramural afternoon activities are open to all youngsters on the estate whether part of the De Wijnlanden Kids or not. Currently they are ballet, art, playball & Kindermusik.
